På måndag nästa vecka (den 29/11 kl 19) hålls en föreläsning på danska institutet i Athen om graven i Birka som gick från att vara den manligaste av vikingagravar till att innehålla en kvinna och bli symbol för alla sagornas sköldmör. Monday next (the 29th November at seven o’clock at night) the institute in Athens host a lecture about the famous viking burial at Birka. The grave contained a lot of weapons, two horsers and plenty of other grave goods marking it as a male grave. Later the skeletal remains was re-classified as a female and the grave turned into a symbol of the sheild maidens of old.
