It’s the time of year when all we want to do is stay indoors and hang out with like-minded people (or is that just me?) and as proof of that there are no less than three events to choose from.
If you are more inclined toward the cosy and soft there’s KNUTs Craft night. It’s from 16.00 in B:366, bring your own craft of choice.
If you lean toward classical archaeology and ancient history that division of our department offer two research seminars with international guests. First Dragana Mladenovićfrom the University of Southampton and Maria Moreno Escobar, LU, will present on Portus and connectivity in the Tiber Valley from 14:15 to 16:00 in A126. Then Jonas Grethlein from the University of Heidelberg will discuss Hope – from Homer to the climate crisis from 16:15 to 18:00 in B251. This seminar is a joint event with the division of Latin.
If you instead want to hang out with the archaeology division they host a research seminar at 17.00 to 18.30 in LUX B152. Zanna Friberg from Department of ALM, Uppsala University present on “The archaeological information landscape – on looking for sites, finds and documentation”.
So much to choose from! Enjoy!
